What we do with your information

Short version: we use it to answer you, to take your booking, and to look after you while you are here. We do not sell it.

What we collect

When you enquire or book, we collect your name, contact details, the dates you want, how many people are coming, and anything you choose to tell us: a dietary need, a dog, an arrival time.

The contact form

What you send through the contact form is stored in our website’s database (by the Gravity Forms plugin), together with the date, the page you sent it from and your browser type, so we can reply and keep a record of the enquiry. We do not store your IP address with it. A copy is emailed to us through SMTP2GO, an email delivery service. We keep form messages until we delete them, and will delete yours on request.

Payments

Card payments are handled by our booking system’s payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.

Analytics

We use website analytics to understand which pages people find useful. This is aggregate information about pages and visits, not a record of who you are.

Who else sees it

Our booking system, our payment provider and our email providers (including SMTP2GO for contact-form messages), each only so far as they need to in order to do their part. We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and for looking after returning guests.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to reservations@oldblueboar.com and we will deal with it.
