Every suite in the inn, so nobody else is staying overnight. That includes the Joyce Kilmer Suite, which is only available with the whole inn.

The guest side of the inn
Double doors close the guest hallway off from the dining room and great room. Every suite opens off that hallway, and at its far end are the guest entrance and the game room, with a card table, a shuffleboard table and a half bath. The dining room and great room stay open for breakfast, including for people who are not staying at the inn.

Prepared by our chef every morning, and included. Nobody in the group cooks and nobody cleans up.

The grounds
The covered pavilion and the firepit, the creek and the pond, trails leading off into the woods, and our private guest dock on Lake Santeetlah with kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.
How the building works
Your side of the inn, and the dining room
A group stay gives you every suite and the guest side of the inn. It does not close the whole building: the dining room and great room are the shared side, and breakfast is served there, including for people who are not staying here.
Double doors separate that shared side from the guest hallway. Every suite opens off the hallway, and at its far end are the guest entrance and the game room, with a card table, a shuffleboard table and a half bath. Close the doors and that side of the inn is your group’s while breakfast is served on the other.
The kitchen is not part of a group booking and is not open to guests. Our chef prepares breakfast for your group every morning.

Who books the whole inn
Too big for a family of four and too small for a conference. What sits neatly in the middle turns out to be most of the reasons people travel together in the first place.
The last line of that list is worth a word. Wedding parties often need one place where everyone sleeps, eats breakfast and sees each other the night before. That is a lodging problem, and eight suites under one roof solve it neatly.

The grounds
None of it needs the cars moved
The pavilion is covered and open-sided, which is what you want when a mountain afternoon rains for twenty minutes and then stops. The firepit is where the evening tends to end up.
The creek and the pond are both on the grounds, with a small footbridge over the creek on the way to the pond, and walking trails lead off from the inn into the woods. Down through the woods is our private guest dock on Lake Santeetlah, with kayaks, canoes and paddleboards for guests to take out at no extra cost.
Before you ask us
Rates and minimum stays
The six two-queen suites sleep four each and the two king suites sleep two, so the eight suites sleep up to 28 between them.
How many nights a whole-inn stay runs, and how the rate is put together, move with the dates. A January midweek and a fortnight of autumn colour are not the same booking, and a figure that suits one of them is wrong for the other.
So we settle those two per enquiry. Tell us roughly when, roughly how many, and what the weekend is for, and you get real figures for your dates rather than a number on a web page that turns out not to apply to you.

Questions about group stays
Yes. One group can book all eight suites and the guest side of the inn. The dining room and great room are not part of that: breakfast is still served there in the mornings, including to people who are not staying here. Tell us roughly when and roughly how many and we will come back to you with what the inn can do.
No. The kitchen is not available to guests, including on a whole-inn booking. Breakfast is made for your group by our chef every morning.
The guest side does. No other overnight guests are booked in, and double doors close the guest hallway, the suites, the guest entrance and the game room off from the dining room and great room. Those two rooms are not closed: breakfast is served there in the mornings, including to people who are not staying at the inn.
